A/B Test Goals
Once you've created your variants and made your page changes, it's time to set up Goals for what you want to accomplish on the page. You have four options available to you:
- Sell More Products
- Get More Registrations
- Get More Pageviews
Once you choose a goal, then you will be able to decide how our system determines the winning variant:
1. When someone clicks on an element (e.g. button or link)
If you choose this option, then you'll be taken to the following page where you can specify an element on the page that will be used to determine a winning variant for the test.
In this example, I chose the CTA button.
Note: You can switch to interactive mode to remove pop-ups before selecting an element.
2. When someone reaches a certain page
If you choose this option, then you'll be taken to the following page where you can put in the URL for a confirmation page or check out page or whatever page that you use to determine a successful conversion. The page will then be pulled up so you can review it before proceeding.
3. When someone submits a form
If you choose this option, then you'll be taken to the following page where you can specify the URL of the page that the form is located on and then you will be prompted to select the form.
4. When someone triggers a script (advanced)
The final option is for those who are developers and more technically advanced. We recommend that you write to us at email@example.com so we can guide you further.
